We have an exciting opportunity for two new Project Managers to join our busy and supportive Portfolio team at Versus Arthritis.

As Project Managers, you’ll be responsible for leading cross directorate teams to deliver major elements of change on time, to budget, and to the required quality in order to help us deliver on our new organisational strategy. These projects will be governed through our Portfolio of change - a collection of our most complex, high risk, and high impact projects and programmes.

About the role

You will be able to confidently manage a project throughout its lifecycle from definition through delivery to closure and bring much needed rigor and scrutiny as well as a flexible project management approach. You will be comfortable building background knowledge quickly enabling you to hit the ground running on the project/s you are deployed to. You will need strong relationship management and communication skills, working in partnership with colleagues across the charity.

Key requirements

  • Experience of successfully delivering large, complex projects in a project management role.
  • Experience of working with a wide range of stakeholders and able to work in partnership with people at all levels.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience of organisational governance arrangements.
  • Highly effective communication skills with excellent attention to detail. 
  • Strong organisational and planning skills.
  • Ability to independently manage workload that includes multiple concurrent priorities.
  • Advanced MS Office skills.
  • A strong commitment to high standards of service delivery.
