Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive individual to join our Wales team as a Senior Regional Services Coordinator covering North Wales and Powys. The role will contribute to the development of our unique CWTCH Cymru project (Communities Working Together Can Help) to strengthen our community focus and ensure no one faces arthritis alone.

This exciting position is for someone who has excellent interpersonal and communication skills and can lead and motivate people. You will be joining a team that is passionate about providing high quality services to people with arthritis across Wales. Versus Arthritis wants to involve people at scale, increase the recognition of arthritis and maximise our impact for people with arthritis. About the role

You will play an integral role in developing CWTCH Cymru which will deliver innovative local support models, empowering people with arthritis to be agents of their own health and wellbeing. As a key team member, you will play a pivotal role in working collaboratively internally and externally to deliver a seamless portfolio of services linked to our charity outcomes.  

You will be responsible for providing clear and consistent line management support to a team of home-based staff as well as overseeing volunteer support within your region. In parallel you will be responsible for co-ordinating, shaping and delivering peer support, self-management and activity services for people with arthritis as well as building strong positive relationships with communities across the region. 

Due to the nature of our services, some evening and weekend working may be required.

Key requirements

Our ideal candidate will be someone who has excellent interpersonal and communication skills, can lead and motivate people and has:

  • An understanding of the third sector and health and social care landscape in Wales. 
  • An organised approach, able to structure your days and manage competing priorities. 
  • Experience of managing staff that cover difference fields of work, including home-based staff. 
  • Experience of service delivery including performance reporting, budgeting and monitoring. 
  • Experience of working with volunteers.

This will involve travel which requires access to transport.
