This branch meets every fourth Wednesday of the month except for January and June, when an outing is planned.
We have just over 80 members of our branch and our monthly meetings are attended by around 35-40 people.
In April we have a Spring Fair at the Larkhill Centre which is our biggest fundraising event of the year. In August we have supper at the Larkhill Centre, when we invite our volunteer drivers to thank them for their support during the year. It is also an opportunity for our helpers to have a night off!
In October, a second outing is usually planned. Previous outing have included a trip to Chatsworth and a visit to Floral Pavilion at New Brighton to see the Good Old Days of Music Hall with Anita Harris.
December is usually full of mince pies and mulled wine with entertainment.
Gentle exercise therapy is also a staple of our groups which is all done sitting down, and is well received by the whole group.
