The cost-of-living crisis is having a significant detrimental impact throughout Britain today, with 89% of adults in Great Britain reporting an increase in their cost of living in July 2022.

Individuals with arthritis and other conditions affecting the joints, muscles, neck and back – musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions – faced additional costs prior to this crisis, including energy, medicines, food and travel, which have been increasing, and so are even more impacted by escalating costs of living.

While Versus Arthritis can’t change these costs, we can offer help and advice for those with arthritis and MSK conditions. We're entering quite a difficult time when it comes to our bills and this may have caused you some concerns.

That’s why we’ve gathered together as many resources as possible to help you to be as comfortable and well as possible in the coming months.

Visit our new How to reduce costs of living advice for more information.

Our clinical and policy experts are also here to help, as well as our Helpline staff, who you can call Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm.
