Watch the video

The patient sits, arm by side, examiner standing behind. The probe is placed longitudinally over the anterior aspect of the humerus. The supraspinatus tendon is clearly visualised with subdeltoid bursa above and coracoacromial ligament.

The arm is moved from extension through 45o of flexion in order to observe supraspinatus tendon movement under the subdeltoid bursa and coracoacromial ligament.
