Make a difference

Introduction

Make a positive difference for young people with arthritis. Have a look at the options below and get in touch if you would like more information or would like to get involved.

Share your opinion

Help shape the work we do and the services we provide by sharing your thoughts and opinions.

One way you can do this is by becoming part of our involvement network, where you will receive regular updates about opportunities coming up for you to share your opinion, thoughts or experiences. You can pick and choose which opportunities seem right for you, or that you would like to get involved with.

Find out more about becoming part of our involvement network, or if you have questions email ypfsUK@versusarthritis.org.

Share your time

It is thanks to the hard work, enthusiasm, and commitment of volunteers that we are able to run events for young people and families and provide support.

Volunteering is a great way to:

  • Give something back to the community and to make a difference to the lives of other young people.
  • Do something amazing for yourself including develop new skills for your CV, meet others and share existing experience and knowledge.
  • Share your experience and use your knowledge to help shape our work.

Find out more about volunteering here or get in touch by email us at ypfsUK@versusarthritis.org.

Share your story

As someone who has experienced arthritis as a young person, your story is powerful. It can give hope and strength to others who are going through similar things and it can help raise awareness of the realities of living with arthritis.

There may be opportunities to share your story on our website, on our social media pages, on a podcast, or by speaking to a journalist.

If you would like to share your story to help others, get in touch by emailing ypfsUK@versusarthritis.org.
