Share your time

Want to make a difference? Why not give your time and volunteer with Versus Arthritis?

It’s thanks to the hard work, enthusiasm, and commitment of our volunteers that we’re able to run events for young people and families and provide practical support.

Volunteering is a great way to:

  • Give something back to the community and make a difference to the lives of other young people.
  • Do something amazing for yourself. It gives you the chance to develop new skills for your CV and meet other young people with arthritis.
  • Share your experience and knowledge to help shape our work.

Find out more about volunteering here or, if you have any questions, you can get in touch by email at ypfsUK@versusarthritis.org.

Join our Young People's panel

We believe that young people with arthritis are the best people to tell us what it’s like, what matters to them, and what needs to change.

That’s why we created our Young People’s Panel – and it’s something we’re really proud of.

This is a space where young people (aged 16-25) who are living with arthritis can shape our support, campaigning, and research work.

Find out more about our panel today.

Research

Our research has helped us to make life-changing breakthroughs for many people. Have a look at what we’ve achieved so far, the research that we’re currently funding, as well as our plans for the future.

There may also be opportunities for you to get involved with research, either by taking part yourself or by helping to shape it. (Remember, if you are under 18 it’s important that your parent or carer is happy for you to take part.)

Learn more about getting involved with research, or if you have questions, email YPFSUK@versusarthritis.org.

Your Rheum

If you are age 11-24 you can help shape research about young people with arthritis by sharing your opinions and thoughts with Your Rheum. If you are interested in finding out more, have a look at their website or email your.rheum@manchester.ac.uk.

Fundraise for us

Raising money for Versus Arthritis is a great way to help us support other young people – and every penny really does count!

There are lots of different ways you can fundraise with us, but feel free to get creative and use your own ideas too!

If you don't know where to start, why not take a look at our fundraising guide. Here you'll find heaps of great advice and tips, as well as inspiration. If you have questions, you can get in touch with us at ypfsUK@versusarthritis.org.

Our policy work

We create reports and resources that help key decision makers in our country understand arthritis and the impact it has on people’s lives.

We also work with other organisations and groups so that we can have a stronger voice together.
