Nation Specific Information

Introduction

We offer a comprehensive range of support to healthcare professionals across the United Kingdom, including our Professional Network and our Core Skills in Musculoskeletal Care training packages.

We also have a support offer for patients across the UK which includes our information leaflets, our free helpline (0800 5200 520) and our online forum.

Whilst we provide a consistent offer of support to all, we also recognise that the needs of healthcare professionals and their patients will vary depending on their location and so on this page you can find out more information about the specific support available in each nation.

We can accept referrals for people living in Northern Ireland with a range of long term conditions and persistent pain. Our courses focus on the impacts of living with pain, not the individual conditions.

We offer a range of self-management courses which are delivered by trained volunteer tutors who live with pain themselves. Covering topics such as getting better sleep, gentle physical activity, managing difficult emotions, getting the most out of medical appointments, problem solving as well as many more, the courses help patients to build up their own toolbox to enable them to take control of their condition.

Cwtch Cymru

We are working on a Welsh Government funded CWTCH (Communities Working Together Can Help) Cymru project which supports our vision of a world that no longer tolerates the impact of arthritis. A key part of this work is supporting healthcare professionals to deliver the best MSK care possible. Because of this work we are able offer our Core Skills training for free to healthcare professionals in qualifying areas. Email professionalengagement@versusarthritis.org to find out more.
